From 2014 to 2016, Valentina Neri worked on a photo project about a group of drag queens who created a club night that quickly became one of the most important and well known in Milan’s LGBTQIA*+ scene. Her research drove her to illustrate and depict the queer world while experimenting with different mediums: a mix of photographs, descriptions, titles, and illustrations enclosed in a “fascist” layout.
